  Being Filipino from the bottom of my heart with numerous trips every year back to my homeland, I yearn to find the kaleidoscope of culinary island flavors that bring back nostalgic memories of my child hood.
  
  From the food, the smells, the way titas and lolas run the kitchen and show, to the overwhelming amount of desserts that seem to cascade over the checkout counter like the Niagara Falls...this restaurant is the Manila Mother Land right here in LA. Come and enjoy dishes and treats that is as close to being in Philippines as you can be.
  
  People keep talking about the Filipino Food Movement that is all the rage and popular. But the real heart and soul of Filipino food starts in places like Nanay Gloria's (Nanay means Mother) where generations of Filipinos in the back of the kitchen cook with their heart and for their families... and not for a movement.

  Love Filipino food
  If you want a quick fix, this is the place to go. It's located inside a plaza area with plenty of parking.
  They have wide selections of food. My favorite thing to get here is the pork sinigang. Hot and sour.
  My other favorite the binagoongan it's something similar to Bicol express but with coconut milk. They have the most flavorful tapa. The only thing I didn't like about it is that it was hard and Chewy

  I was recently looking for Filipino food that was fairly close to me and I came up with a few good prospects on my trusty Yelp App. I new where the location was, so I just pointed my van in the right direction and let fate lead the way. I found a parking spot fairly quick in the little lot (though it was at 3:45 in the afternoon) and as soon as I got out of the car my nose was hit with the beautiful aroma of garlic. Without thinking I let my nose lead the way inside of Nanay Gloria's. I quickly looked over the food line and thought it looked o.k. I asked the lady if she had Pork Adobo and she said they only had chicken (o.k just a little disappointing) I then asked for some gravy on the rice and she happily obliged. I asked her if she had Sisig, she said yes and pointed to a small pan of what can only be described as leftovers from the lunch rush, but none the less I went with it anyways. I found a seat in the open dining room and settled in with the sounds of Filipino soap operas playing in the back round. My plate looked good and more importantly it smelled good. My chicken was tender and the sauce was good. The sisig was much better tasting than I was expecting with the sad display I was working with. I would have liked to see more rice on the plate, but I think that of every Filipino place I visit I guess.
  Overall the service was o.k and the food was just o.k, prices were also just o.k for what you got. If I ever do come back I will be sure to get here earlier in hopes for the pork adobo, Aloha

  If only i can give them 0 star i would. I was at the front buying turon. And one of the server wearing white told me to get turon for myself because she was carrying stuffs. She asked me nicely so i said okay. Then there was a woman wearing black she make a noise that got my attention. She said "what are you doing?" I told her that one of the server told me to get the turon by myself. And i also told her if she'll gonna help me. She didn't answer and turn her back on me. After i get my turons. I went straight to the cashier to tell what happened and ask if she know the woman. She said that the woman wearing black is the one in-charged.
  I told to the cashier that the woman wearing black that she shouldnt treat her customer like that because i worked in a food industry /customer service and also has a high postion  And i NEVER do "sitsit" to the customers to get their attention its like a insult. Next time be nice and ask politely to your customer.

  Disappointing. My dad ordered pancit one day before to be picked up the next day. When he arrived, they didn't cook/make what he ordered! And yet they're the ones who are mad when their customer gets upset about them. Poor customer service especially at night, filthy interior, incompetent employees, poor management,! Close this place down!!!
